Wool Spinning begins with carding, which is the process of disentangling the wool. The carded wool is then hand-spun into yarn using traditional spinning techniques.
Once the wool is dyed and prepared, it is taken to the artisans. The artisans begin the weaving process. The majority of Afghanistan's talented artisans are women.
